Per the City of Tarpon Springs Staff Report, the estimated economic impact of the project includes:
- $8,000,000 in new local spending annually
- $1,400,000 in new ad valorem taxes
- 476 new jobs, including 120 additional permanent jobs and an additional 356 jobs during construction
- $2,900,000 in new infrastructure impact fees paid by Morgan Group
- Valued new customers to patronize the Sponge Docks, historic downtown and city businesses
