Wetlands Facts

 The wetlands are generally in very poor condition due to invasive plant species and human trash that stifles the ability for native plants to thrive. Morgan Group will address this issue with a comprehensive wetland enhancement plan.  

21 of 22 acres of wetlands will be preserved and greatly enhanced with the removal of trash and invasive plant species, and the planting of more than 6,000 trees!

Only two small centrally located, man-made, isolated, low-quality wetlands (totaling 0.91 acres) are being impacted.

52 of the 64 acres are preserved wetlands, waterways, ponds, tree canopy and other pervious areas.

The preserved wetlands will be managed with a Water Management District-approved maintenance plan.
